I joined Amazon's Kindle Marketing team in February of 2014. My first assignment was to assist with the design of the Keynote for the launch of Amazon's new FireTV device. Here are some photos from the event at Milk Studios in NYC, as well as examples of specific slides I designed.
I used this infographic about smoking as a way to get away from the computer and create some interesting visuals using physical materials.
Constructing the compositions with cigarettes, loose tobacco, and matches was a tedious but ultimately rewarding process.
While working on Amazon's Kindle marketing team I had the opportunity to pitch creative concepts for the print campaign of the new Fire HD Kids tablet.
My "storybook" direction was eventually cut before a more conservative approach was chosen, but I was very happy to contribute to a large print campaign and collaborate with the other designers and copywriters.
The icons I created to highlight the bundle deal from Amazon were eventually used in the final print ads.
I supplied all illustrated visual assets.
The second product launch I worked on for Amazon's Kindle marketing team was the Fire Phone. During the lead-up to the launch of the device on July 25th, 2014, I assisted with the creation of various digital banners, website skins, and Kindle special offer ads.

These digital banners were created for different category pages within the Ebay Deals blog.
In The Paint: A Celebration of Art & Basketball was held at Voltage Coffee in Cambridge, MA on April 19, 2013. I was very happy to have these 3 prints of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson included in the show.
Site update designed for AccreditedOnlineColleges.org. Along with the overall site design, I created the logo and icon set to accompany the text-heavy site layout.

I liked the light-hearted silliness in the content of this graphic, and I decided to play off that with an illustration style with a serious, straight-forward tone.
Here are a few icon sets I've done over the past couple years for various projects.
I recently completed a series of health and fitness infographics for Livestrong. I began by creating a set of fun characters that I knew I would be able to re-use throughout the series, and used an illustration style that matched the aesthetic that Livestrong had recently established in their re-branding efforts.
I began working with Cleveland-based t-shirt company Fresh Brewed Tees a couple of months ago after discovering that they had opened up a t-shirt truck in Seattle. I'm a big sports fan and I enjoy working on sports-related design projects when I get the chance.
Here is a sample of some of the work I've done for them recently.

I wanted the design to feel sophisticated and polished and also create an interesting blend of the older fashion imagery with new social media/tech products.
